The auto dialer software has become extremely popular thanks to the BPO. A predictive dialer is a system that automatically dials batches of telephone numbers and this is the secret behind the effectiveness of agents in call centers. The marker marks the telephone numbers of potential customers ahead of the agents of the company and this allows tagging rates the company to shoot. With the popularity of the markers of various types thereof are commercially available now. Although the functions of all types of predictive markers are the same that differ in delivery methods and architecture.
One of the markers is the soft label. These just call center software and predictive dialers are comparatively cheaper than the other types. This is because they do not need a soft dialer’s telephony components. These use shorter development cycles and large computing power. Things like “call classification” and “call progress analysis” are built into the software. The marker is connected to the PBX software PBX system through the CTI link and with this type of marker is much easier to integrate functions such as speech recognition, IVR, text to speech, and voice recording. The software can be easily customized to suit individual needs.

The advantages of this software are the only marker that is cheaper and has a flexible architecture that works surprisingly well in distributed and multi-site areas. However, it has some disadvantages too. Old dialers make mistakes in classifying calls and some of the older PBXs are unable to run the Setup soft marker.
Other markers include hard dialers, predictive dialers, smart dialers and hybrid hosted dialers. Each of these types has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. An organization takes everything into account before opting for a particular type.
